An Environmental Product Declaration, or EPD, reports third-party verified data about a products and services' environmental performances from a lifecycle perspective. It is based on the ISO 14025 standard and the scientific footprinting method Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
EPDs and LCAs
The LCA makes it possible to evaluate a product’s environmental performance over its entire life cycle. It takes into consideration the full value chain from material extraction to manufactured product, its use and end of life.
An EPD does not imply that the declared product is environmentally superior to alternatives. It does however make comparisons between products and materials possible.
On this page you can find the Environmental Product Declarations of coated and uncoated WISA®plywoods. In the declaration you will find information on the product’s impact in categories such as global warming, ozone depletion and acidification in the various stages of our products’ life-cycle.

Environmental impacts have also been calculated for products without an EPD document. These products have different environmental impacts, either due to their special coatings or their construction.
